In addition to pleasant relaxation by the sea, a vacation or a weekend in Eraclea Mare at the Hotel Lory is an occasion to visit historic villages with ancient origins like Portogruaro and Concordia Saggitaria, the fascinating Summaga Abbey, the Caorle lagoon where Hemingway loved to hunt, or to follow the DOC Wine Road of Lison Pramaggiore and visit the wine cellars to discover traditional tastes and products. Or to spend a day with the kids in Jesolo at Aqualandia, a water park with a Caribbean atmosphere and setting and the highest water slide in the world: 42 meters high and a descent at 100 km/h.

Among the hotels of Eraclea Mare, the Hotel Lory is the ideal solution for a weekend spent discovering the historic villages and artistic cities of the Veneto such as Caorle (10 km away), with its lovely Romanesque church and original circular bell tower, Concordia Saggitaria and Portogruaro, of Roman origin with lovely Medieval centers and the thousand-year-old Summaga Abbey (35 km) and Altino, where you can tour the Museo Nazionale Archeologico; Treviso, a delightful city of water and the incomparable Venice, both 50 km from Eraclea. You can reach Venice by land (by car, train or bus) or water on a pleasant mini-cruise on-board motorships that depart from Caorle and Jesolo; while, in the winter, the motorships leave from Punta Sabbioni
(30 km).
